•  Last Updated: September 28, 2025

Welcome to Clarity Bot! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Clarity Bot Slack application, our website (clarity-bot.com), and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by clarity-bot.com ("we," "us," or "our").

By installing the Clarity Bot app, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. The Service

Clarity Bot is an intelligent software agent that integrates with your Slack workspace. It is designed to act as a "project brain" by processing conversations, documents, and other content you provide ("Customer Data") to automate tasks, generate summaries, and answer questions about your project.

The Service relies on third-party platforms, including Slack, Jira, and various AI service providers (e.g., Google, OpenAI). Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third parties. The availability and functionality of the Service may be affected by the availability of these third-party services.

2. Accounts and Membership

To use the Service, you must have a valid Slack account. The individual who installs the Clarity Bot app and initiates a subscription is considered the Workspace Admin and is responsible for managing their team's access.

You are responsible for:

3. The "Founders' Plan" Offer

We offer a special pre-launch subscription plan for our early supporters, known as the "Founders' Plan".

4. Customer Data and Privacy

Your privacy and data ownership are critically important to us.

5. Acceptable Use

6. Payments and Renewals

All payments for subscriptions are handled by a secure third-party payment processor (e.g., Polar, Stripe). All fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the billing period (annually for the Founder Plan) unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal date. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Clarity Bot app from your Slack workspace.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service with notice if you are in breach of these Terms or for non-payment of fees.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service will cease, and we will delete your Customer Data in accordance with our data retention policy.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Clarity Bot is an AI-powered tool and may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information ("hallucinations"). You are responsible for verifying any critical information provided by the Service before taking action.
